First Teeth First

Maricopa County's Office of Oral Health administers First Teeth First, a First Things First funded program. Basic oral screenings, education and referrals are provided at no cost to expectant mothers and children 0 through age 5, not enrolled in kindergarten. Participating children are eligible to receive fluoride varnish every six months.

Where Provided

The First Teeth First program provides services throughout Maricopa County at Women, Infant and Children (WIC) clinics, Immunization clinics, and community events. Our valued partnership with Dignity Health has strengthened our outreach efforts in the East and Southeast Regions of  Maricopa County. These preventive services are provided at no cost.
