Help with Homelessness

The region uses a coordinated entry system to provide assistance to people experiencing homelessness. For assistance with shelter and support services, please contact the most appropriate entry point listed below: 

Domestic Violence Survivors 

SAFEDVS (Safe Access For Expedited Domestic Violence Services): Call the 24 hour crisis line at 480-890-3039 or toll free at 844-723-3387. Chat with A New Leaf by clicking on the purple “Chat Live” button. 

Individuals (Single Adults Age 18+)

Call the Brian Garcia Welcome Center, 206 S. 12th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, at 602-229-5155 or one of the Coordinated Entry Points accessible to you. 

Families

 Call the Family Housing Hub, 3307 E. Van Buren St., Phoenix, AZ at 602-595-8700. 

Veterans

Call the Phoenix VA Community Resource and Referral Center, 1500 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ, at 602-248-6040, or visit the Phoenix VA Homeless Veterans Services web page.  

Youth (Ages 12-17) 

Call or text Safe Place – Teens can text “Safe” and their address to 44357 or call 602-841-5799. There are stationary Safe Place locations across the valley at QuikTrip convenience stores, libraries, fire departments, public transit stops, and local businesses.
