Chase Field is ready for the Diamondbacks in 2017! The Maricopa County Stadium District completed about $4 million worth of concrete and steel work in the off-season as part of a long-term plan to ensure the stadium is in good condition. The Stadium District has worked in partnership with the Diamondbacks to complete $46 million worth of repairs and improvements to Chase Field since 2005. The Stadium District owns and operates Chase Field. The Diamondbacks pay rent to the District to play at Chase Field. Opening Day this year is Sunday, April 2.
